To all you good souls who have sent such lovely flowers, delicious meals and beautiful thoughts: thank you a thousand times. Tom will probably be, this is a guess, in ICU through next week but I know he can feel the force. I take him printouts of your emails, cards and the blog comments so he knows you care. Today he had another dialysis to relieve the kidneys and they redressed his leg which is looking better every time. The medical staff is awesome and they say he's a charmer. That helps! I probably won't post anything till Monday because not much happens in hospitals on weekends. Besides, I hope you are all too happily busy to check in. A bientot.
Dear Tom and Sue. Daisy and I are in Paris. We were shocked to learn of Tom's accident from Helen Pennoyer. Please also thank Angel for the blog address. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Tom for a speedy and full recovery. As a biker, I really feel for you. My bike was stolen near the Brook a few weeks ago. After this I don't know whether I'll replace it. Daisy doesn't want me to. Fondest best wishes. Philip Keevil
ReplyDeleteDeat Tom and sue, We are ust back from the Beaverkill where the Wilkinsons had their Annual Bird-a-thon for Audubon. Saturday evening was a convivial supper with birdy peope, the Manices, Adams, Sokolov/Ames and other colorful Beaverkill friends. the folk from consitiution Marsh came for bird banding but Merlin andn I were late so missed that. Today, at 6.30 i drove down there in the rain for a bird walk. Over coffee and buns it had time to stop and we saw masses of different birds. Greeat fun, tho'damp. I played the song of a Blacburnian warbler on my i-phone which did not go down very well with the expert leading the trip. All our houghts are with you. Love, Merlin and Jan
